Ok so I'm thinking about going to school next semester. Just for one semester. I have been homeschooled my entire school life so I'm not sure if I'll like it! So I need people who are in public schools to help me. What was/is middle school like for you? Now, I want to go to a Christian school (Calvary Chapel Academy) so there's not gonna be cussing or drugs or anything bad like that. But I did list the pros in cons. There's a lot more cons then pros, but I can manage with all of them. Again, it's just one semester:
School:
Pros:
Wouldn't get distracted
Would have the lesson taught to me, not read it myself
Have other kids possibly help me if I'm struggling
It's just 1 semester unless I like it
Does have a music class (worship)
Would have teachers/tutors to help me if struggling
Phone?
Cons:
Homework
Bullying/teasing
It goes till 3:15pm
No friends
Have to get up early (but I can manage)
Uniform (except Fridays)
FCAT (unless I start after summer break)
5hrs (which isn't bad at all)
P.E (which isn't bad)
Cafeteria food (make a lunch bro)
Possible bad attidude/language (tho it is a christian school)
So that's it! Please give me your suggestions on what I should do! I have some friends who go there so I'm gonna ask them how they like it/dislike it! So yeah! Again 1 semester! Which will be from about January-April I think! :)
